Music Released - Seasons E.P.
I'm gradually releasing music to build a body of my work that's publicly accessible. I've begun with an E.P. 'Seasons', of four piano pieces I wrote over several years. They are musical sketches, or 'impressions' and are quiet dreamy and chilled. I hope you enjoy them. More music will be released in the coming weeks.

Rain
A spring shower catches the light. The rain begins as a light patter, then the light changes and becomes darker and more mysterious. Finally the sun comes out through the clouds and the final drops of rain fall.
Composed May 2012. Dedicated to my Father.
A Dream of Summer
An impression of lying in the grass, half-dozing in the heat.
Composed May 2012 after a visit to Walton Gardens.
Sunflowers
An impression of an early summer evening, as the light fades. Two dear people I knew, loved Sunflowers.
Composed Summer 2012- 2013. Dedicated to my Mother and Annette Shaw.
Winter Twilight
An impression of fading light of the late afternoon in Winter. I wrote this piece while my mother was in hospital, shortly before she passed away. I would stay awake through the night and compose music to keep my mind focused.
Composed January 2013. Dedicated to my friend, pianist Dr. Anthony Tobin.
